Graphics: Nice, as with all Disney games.
Sound: Sounds just like the movie.
Enjoyment: It is enjoyable the first time through, but it's more annoying than amusing after the first time.
Replay Value: Too easy games and annoying narration make this game a waste of time and money. You are unlikely to replay more than a few times.
Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame Animated Storybook features the traditional characters of Quasimodo, Esmerelda, Frollo, and Phoebus, as well as the Disney-introduced characters of the Gargoyles Hugo, Victor and Laverne. The story follows that of the movie, and includes six games that can either be played during the course of the story, or separately. Players can choose to compose a tune on the bells with the gargoyles to cheer Quasimodo up, balance the number of chickens on the tightrope walker's bar, listen and sing along with a number of French tunes, help Quasimodo carry Esmerelda down the side of Notre Dame cathedral, help Quasimodo and Phoebus find the gypsies secret hideout by unlocking the key of Esmerelda's necklace, or help the gargoyles defend the cathedral by dropping crates on the soldier's heads. This game contains the voices and songs from the movie, and is emceed by the hand puppet, Clopin.
