Set in a frigid version of Earth that seems to be suffering from an extended ice age, Little Inferno finds players spending the majority of their experience inside, staring at their Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace. Gameplay is exclusively focused on burning things, including logs, old toys, and odd items like exploding fish and small galaxies. Burning produces coins that can be spent on new burnable items, and as the inferno rages, players learn about their sad world through letters sent from the neighbor girl Sugar Plumps, and from dire predictions sent by the Weather Man.
