Players control an entire dwarf colony and order them to excavate the ruins of their former grand civilizations, research technologies, build settlements, and battle terrible monsters in A Game of Dwarves. Dwarves level up as they dig, turning from puny helpers to unstoppable warriors or brilliant engineers, but while digging deeper uncovers rare and valuable resources, it also unleashes more powerful foes. Each settlement must have a space for dwarves to sleep and to eat, but every level in A Game of Dwarves is randomly generated, so players must consistently alter their strategy.
