Dubbed "The Ultimate Female Fighting Game from Atlantean Interactive", Catfight is Mortal Kombat minus any male fighters. And gameplay. And fun.
Just as a quick example of the level of thought that went into the design, the game has two difficulty levels, "Brain Dead," where, get this, the computer doesn't fight back at all (useful for, well, nothing at all), and "Butt-kicker," where the computer appears to be incredibly good until you realize that: 1. The response time for your controls is pathetic; and 2. All you have to do is stay in a crouch and kick repeatedly to defeat your opponents with ease.
Catfight enters entirely new realms of badness. Aside from the control problems, you have bad gameplay, bad animation, bad-looking characters, bad background graphics, bad background music and bad sound effects. Which makes for a pretty bad game. Too bad there's no cheesy video to make fun of.
CatFight: The Ultimate Female Fighting Game is an all-woman fighting game, resembling the early editions of Mortal Kombat where the sprites representing the fighters were also created using digitized actors. Katalin Zamiar, an American martial artist, is featured in-game through this method as the ninja woman character Chae Lee.
The short plot revolves around an evil goddess who summons some of the world's greatest fighters to a few number of arenas for a fighting challenge. The player may choose from ten different characters, who are all scantily clad women.
