A high-definition remake of Sam "Serious" Stone's second alien-blasting adventure, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter once again lets gamers join the wise-cracking tough guy as he travels through time to scorch the minions of the alien overlord Mental. The action takes gamers to modern-day South America, medieval Europe, and ancient Mesopotamia, with more than 130 secrets hidden within the three unique worlds. Players must contend with 27 different ferocious alien beasts, but luckily Sam has a full arsenal of weapons, including the new sniper rifle, flamethrower, and chainsaw. Gamers can join up to 15 friends for intense multiplayer action on eight different "Deathmatch" maps, while the new "Survival," "Co-Op," "Versus," and "Team" modes offer multiplayer fans four more ways to battle.
