Players guide Walter Lantz' redheaded veteran of hundreds of cartoons through a new platform adventure marked by fast action and high-stakes in this release for the PC. Not only has the nasty Buzz Buzzard kidnapped Woody Woodpecker's niece and nephew, but he's stolen the remote control for the TV too. That's more than a woodpecker can stand for, so Woody sets out to teach Buzz a lesson, rescue the kids, and take back his clicker. Armed with such unlikely tools as a meatball gun and a special brush that allows him to paint holes in the ground for enemies to fall through, the hero must face such threats as skiing polecats, mustard-throwing tanks, and sneezing fire hydrants as he makes his way to the theme park that Buzz Buzzard is using as a hideout.
