A building is on fire and you have to rescue babies jumping (jumping?) from the building. Your two man fire fighter team is the only thing between life and certain death for the 'bouncing babies'. Use your fire fighter stretcher/trampoline to 'bounce' the babies safely into the ambulance.
The game has only 3 keys to play (1, 2, 3) which represents the positions where you can place your fireman team: Left, Middle, Right. Anticipate where the babies will fall from their 'jumping angle'. Multiple and faster babies will jump off the building as you advance in the game.
Bouncing Babies is a game where the main aim is to try and save babies that are jumping out of a burning building. To do this you control two fire fighters (with the number keys: 1 = left, 2 = middle, 3 = right, or the arrow keys) that have some sort of trampoline, which they use to bounce babies into an ambulance.
There are many elements at work to make you want to give up, such as the music that plays when a baby bounces (it's like the siren of an ambulance), or the challenging gameplay. The graphics may look bad/dated, but don't be fooled by that! This game will test your reflexes as it's extremely challenging, and even getting past level 3 is a massive accomplishment.
Even though the game is very annoying at times (well most of the time), it's very addictive. I'm going to give it a 3.5 out of 5 since I keep coming back to it (mainly because I'm trying to beat my own high score), and each time, I play it for around an hour.
Who ever owned one of the old 8086 based IBM PC surely remembers this simple game. The babies are falling through the window of a building that is in fire and you have to make sure they safely reach the rescue car. Simple, yet not as easy as it may sound.
